Waterfalls & Fairy Glens E-Bike Tour

Glen Massan waterfall

Waterfalls & Fairy Glens

Immerse yourself in the magical world of fairies, legends, and monsters of the lochs. We go off the beaten track to visit some of the Dunoon area’s most beautiful places – waterfalls, mountains, towering trees, and magical glens.

We dive into the meaning behind the Gaelic placenames and faery lore.

Our tours focus on local history and legends. The e-bikes make cycling easy, and give us access to places that no car or coach can go.

Who is this tour for? This tour is for couples, friend groups, or families (kids must be 14+ to legally ride an e-bike) who want to get deep into the nature and beauty of this part of Argyll. We do ride off road so moderate bike handling skills are required. This tour lasts 3-4 hours so be sure you have plenty of time to enjoy the day.

The tour price includes:

  • Use of a top-of-the-line e-bike

What they are saying…

If you’re thinking about booking an e-bike tour with Lochs, Bens and Glens – DO IT! I did the Waterfalls and Fairy Glens tour today and it was absolutely brilliant.

The route was stunning – waterfalls, forest trails, peaceful lochs and little hidden glens you wouldn’t easily find on your own. The e-bike makes it really enjoyable, especially on the hills, so you can just focus on the scenery.

Fiona and Lance were great hosts – friendly, welcoming and very well organised. The whole experience felt smooth, safe and easy from start to finish.

I drove over from Edinburgh and found the starting point really easy to get to in a couple of hours. I took the Western Ferries from Gourock (which made it feel like a little holiday!). The ferries run every 20 minutes across to Dunoon. Once you’re over, the tour starting point is 5 minutes from the ferry terminal so it’s pretty simple!

Highly recommend!
