Welcome to Lochs, Bens & Glens, Ltd. a bicycle tour company based in Dunoon, Argyll. We’re here to guide you through one of the most stunning places in the world, exploring local lochs (lakes), bens (mountains), and glens (valleys). Our guides are knowledgeable of the area and will regale you with stories of local legends and history.
We provide bikes for all of our tours, or you can choose to bring your own. We’ve invested in the latest touring ebikes that allow for easy entry and diverse terrain, opening up the joy of cycling in Argyll to more people. See us as your ghille but for bikes: we’ll take you to the best spots for sightseeing and experiencing the local flavour while ensuring your comfort and safety.
Our guides are trained in first aid and bike leadership through British Cycling, and all routes have been ridden extensively for familiarity and fun!

Our Story
Owners Lance and Fiona moved to Dunoon, Scotland from South Carolina, USA in 2024. Fiona grew up on the Isle of Tiree, their connection to Argyll. Fiona and Lance are both avid cyclists – Lance predominantly on the mountain bike and Fiona competing across the world in triathlons for the past decade. When we decided to move from the US to Scotland, we were seeking a welcoming place that fit our outdoors lifestyle. We bike toured through Argyll in May 2024 and fell in love with Dunoon.
In South Carolina, Fiona ran her own digital marketing agency and Lance built up a racecar chasis fabrication shop. Our dream for moving to Scotland is to take our decade + of business ownership experience and build the business of our dreams. Lochs, Bens & Glens Ltd is that expression of our dream to spend more time on the bike in beautiful landscapes, and to get more people on two wheels.
